Service Description

Start your tour by boat up the Urauchi River. Walk through the dense subtropical forest, visiting the twin waterfalls of Mariyudo and Kanbire, before ascending steeply to the summit of Mount Komi (441.2m), Iriomote Island's third highest peak. From the summit, descend via a different route. If you have the time and energy, you can also stop off at Pinaisara Falls along the way. As this is a designated Iriomote Island Natural Tourism Resource, access is restricted. We can handle the application process for you. For those who exercise regularly or have mountaineering experience. Please fill out the reservation form with your mountaineering or sports experience within the past year. Duration: 7-8 hours ●Tour Fee Single participant on the day: ¥35,000 Two or more participants: ¥23,000 Students (two or more participants, student ID required): ¥21,000 In addition to the above fee, a ¥500 application fee for permission to enter the designated Iriomote Island Natural Tourism Resource is required. ● Clothing/Items to bring: Drinks, lunch, snacks, comfortable clothing that covers your skin, comfortable walking shoes, gloves, insect repellent ● Pick-up area: Western Iriomote Island only (Uehara Port area, Funaura to Shirahama) ● Felt shoe rentals available for 500 yen
